My name is Randi Castle-Salgado. I have lived, and worked is South Bay for over 25 years.
I have worked as a school lunch lady at MVHS, been in the CSEA, worked in food services (Filippis Pizza Grotto), and bartended (IB, CV, and NC).
For the past 11 years, I have been in the real estate industry, having helped over 150 families in their home ownership goals. I am licensed in both California and Arizona. I also sit Vice Chair Planning Commissioner for city of National City, as well as housing advisory chair.
I have 4 children, including an active duty daughter in the Navy. Some of my hobbies include gardening, and singing. I personally believe in reducing carbon footprint, and leading by example. Dont just talk about it- Be about it.
I genuinely love people, and I love serving my community. I have volunteered in the past with VFW Chula Vista, As well as IAVA. I currently help with a food distribution every Saturday in National City for our unhoused, and am an active CERT member registered with San Diego County and the National City Fire Department.
As you can see- Service is in my character.
I genuinely love people, and I am very protective. Which is why I have decided to run for City Council.
Integrity, Transparency, and Honesty are lackluster currently, I want to progress my city forward and create quality of life for all constituents.
